Zeynep brings 20 years of experience in driving profitable growth in high potential technology companies. She has significant experience in working with governments and private foundations to achieve positive social impact and strong financial performance. She joined to lead Calytera in 2020.
Before joining, Zeynep was a venture partner at Next Coast Ventures. Prior to that, she founded and led Double Line Partners, an ed-tech company working with state education agencies and large school districts to build data systems to monitor and improve student performance.
Before that, Zeynep was a portfolio manager with the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, where she managed a $150 million portfolio investing in disruptive technologies to improve public education and health outcomes. Zeynep was also an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where she served as a leader in the worldwide high-tech practice. Zeynep was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Finalist in Central Texas in 2013 and was on the Forbes list of Women Who Built Outstanding Companies.
Zeynep is active in Young President’s Organization and serves on the boards of Texas Book Festival and Women@Austin. She holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Rice University.
