To facilitate improved client service and to simplify the transition to using the new grants management software (Grantium), ACE has made a series of How-To videos. These videos are available via ACE’s website or YouTube and they cover topics such as how to create and manage profiles, accounts, and applications.
In 2012, ACE learned they would be required to make reductions of up to 50% to their operational and administrative costs; while continuing to serve the cultural sector. After a rigorous search, ACE chose to partner with CSDC Systems and implement CSDC’s Grantium application as part of ACE’s cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements strategy.
In a statement released during the launch of Grantium, ACE’s Deputy Chief Executive of ACE said:
Grantium is a major piece in the jigsaw that supports the Arts Council’s work. Behind the scenes we’ve already replaced our finance system, and with Grantium, we’ll now save around £1 million each year; money that we will re-use to invest directly in arts and culture. But it’s not just about saving money. Grantium will help to bring us into the 21st Century.
The NPO programme is targeted and provides regular funding for National Portfolio Organisations that have a long-term and sustained commitment to a programme of work. The Grantium based NPO application portal for the 2018-22 funding period is now open and will support the distribution of £409 million in funding each year; for a total of £1.6 billion over the next four years. The NPO programme is the latest of several ACE’s grants programs that will be migrated onto CSDC’s Grantium. ACE’s first grant programme Grants for the Arts (GftA), launched in January 2016. Another program programme based on GftA was launched a few months ago for grants under £15 thousand. Planning for the deployment of additional funding programs is underway.
Grantium, is a powerful web-based grant management application that dramatically reduces processing time, tracks every penny spent on grants, and helps all stakeholders become valued contributors to the granting process. CSDC is also an authorised vendor to the UK government through their Digital Marketplace programme.
